All residents are required to carry Renters Insurance with a minimum of $100,000 personal liability coverage and a minimum of $10,000 personal property coverage.
The community must also be listed as an "Additional Interest" or "Interested Party".
Water damage liability and dog bite liability coverage is included (these are not typically included in standard policies).
However; residents are free to choose any insurance carrier that provides a policy that meets the requirements listed above.
For residents who opt to use a carrier other than Assurant, you will need to provide a Declaration of Insurance.
